Growing up in
Moscow and creating art with her mother’s tools as a child helped fuel
the artists fire that burns inside Russian photographer and artist Anka Zhuravleva.
Spending much of her life painting and developing her creative
techniques, and in 2006 Zhuravleva discovered her passion for
photography after realizing that her inspiration for painting often came
from photos. Zhuraleva’s latest set of photos, “Distorted Gravity” is a
mixture of imagination and beauty where the artist clearly executes
eye-pleasing photos which entice the viewer to think of a world where
gravity doesn’t exist. Check out some examples from this series as well
some of Zhuravleva’s other work below.
